The Supporting Preparedness for Article 6 Cooperation (SPAR6C) program helps partner governments of Colombia, Pakistan, Thailand, and Zambia prepare for Article 6 transactions. As part of the program, the “Article 6 Toolbox” draws on the diverse experiences in Article 6 activity development to create guidance and tools that can be used in target countries. The first set of outputs in the Toolbox are six guides that target the fundamental needs of host party governments, on the one hand, and activity participants on the other. • Guide 1: Promoting ambition and transformation change using Article 6 • Guide 2: Developing an Article 6 host party strategy • Guide 3: Developing an Article 6 host party institutional framework • Guide 4: Using Article 6 with carbon pricing instruments: three key policy issues for host parties • Guide 5: Screening and developing Article 6 activities • Guide 6: Financing and contracting Article 6 activities: Available soon
