Resource Description

This resource sets out the final recommendations of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), providing a disclosure framework for organizations to assess, manage, and report nature-related dependencies, impacts, risks, and opportunities.

Why This Matters

Nature loss poses material financial risks. This framework helps organizations generate decision-useful disclosures, enabling more informed capital flows that support nature-positive outcomes.

  • Aligns with TCFD structure across four pillars: governance, strategy, risk and impact management, and metrics and targets
  • Introduces 14 recommended disclosures and a three-part approach: Locate, Evaluate, Assess, Prepare (LEAP)
