Resource Summary

The Taskforce on Access to Climate Finance is a joint initiative involving the participation of climate-vulnerable developing countries, bilateral and multilateral climate finance providers (including national governments, dedicated climate funds and international financial institutions) and other relevant organizations and initiatives. The 2024 Annual Report of the Taskforce on Access to Climate Finance provides a comprehensive review of the progress made by the Taskforce, including its seven pioneer country trials (Bangladesh, Fiji, Jamaica, Mauritius, Rwanda, Somalia and Uganda), and its engagement with climate finance providers (including anchor donors) and other stakeholders in aligning with and implementing the Taskforce principles and 22 associated recommendations. This 2024 report is the third Annual Report of the Taskforce.
