‘Workshop in a Box’: Metrics and Targets
Course Objective
This course provides presentation materials to support delivery of workshops on the Metrics and Targets component of the voluntary GFANZ Net-zero Transition Plan (NZTP) framework. It offers voluntary guidance for financial institutions on how to set and refine metrics and targets to monitor progress toward net-zero goals.
Learning Outcomes
- An understanding of the role of metrics and targets in accelerating net-zero transition plans
- Insight into forward- and backward-looking portfolio alignment metrics and their use in assessing emissions pathways
- Practical knowledge of how to apply metrics across key NZTP themes including governance, engagement, implementation, and real-economy impact Familiarity with types of metrics, including absolute and intensity
