Course Objective: This course provides ready-to-use presentation materials to support delivery of workshops on the transition finance component of the voluntary GFANZ Net-zero Transition Plan (NZTP) framework.

Learners can expect to gain:

1. An understanding of when and how financial institutions can approach transition finance
2. Insight into the four key GFANZ financing strategies and their application
3. Knowledge of how these strategies finance or enable: (1) Entities and activities that develop and scale climate solutions, (2) Entities that are already aligned to a 1.5 degrees pathway, (3) Entities committed to transitioning in line with 1.5 degrees pathways, (4) The accelerated Managed Phaseout of high-emitting assets
