‘Workshop in a Box’: Where to start with the GFANZ Net-zero Transition Plan (NZTP)

Summary
Course Objective: This course provides presentation materials to support delivery of workshops on how financial institutions can begin developing a Net-zero Transition Plan (NZTP) using the voluntary GFANZ framework.
Learners can expect to gain:
- An understanding of what a net-zero transition plan is and how it can support institutional alignment with 1.5°C goals
- Familiarity with the five NZTP framework themes: Foundations, Implementation Strategy, Engagement Strategy, Metrics and Targets, and Governance
- Insight into how to approach transition planning using a phased process of commitment, target setting, strategy, implementation, and monitoring
- Guidance on identifying priorities, gaps, and starting points within existing operations
