‘Workshop in a Box’: An Introduction to Net Zero, GFANZ, and the Net-zero Transition Plan (NZTP)
Course Objective
This course provides ready-to-use presentation materials to support workshops introducing the concept of net zero, the role of GFANZ, and the voluntary Net-zero Transition Plan (NZTP) framework for financial institutions.
Learning Outcomes
- An understanding of why net zero matters for the financial sector and how transition planning supports it
- Familiarity with GFANZ and its role in helping to align finance with global climate goals Insight into the five NZTP themes: Foundations, Implementation Strategy, Engagement Strategy, Metrics and Targets, and Governance
- An introduction to transition finance and the four GFANZ financing strategies
